What is a dilapidation report?

Dilapidation reports are a record of the condition of your property before major construction or excavation works take place nearby. The report can help you to evidence if there has been an impact to your property due to the works being carried out.

An inspector from our South Australian team will review your property and make note of any current damage as well as the overall condition of the building. They’ll provide a detailed report which will include all the information you need such as their notes, photographs, diagrams and measurements. The inspector will also let you know which areas of your property are most likely to be impacted so you can monitor them.

If you think there’s been a change to your property during the construction or excavation, ask our team to conduct a second inspection to accurately and professionally record the full extent of the impact.
